CONTINUOUS MODE ®"w

The Continuous Mode function iets you remove the key from ignition whiie ieaving the engine running. This

convenient feature aiiows you to ieave vehicie for short periods of time whiie ciimate controis remain on.

To access Continuous Mode, send Start command before removing the key from ignition when performing

the safety sequence described on page 3. See “STARTiNG THE ENGiNE“ on page 6.

Note: Do not press ^ button if you perform sequence activated by the remote controi (Step 7).

Parking iights, engine and preset accessories wiii remain on for the duration of the programmed runtime

(see “ Setting the runtime ” on page 8).

Remove key, exit vehicie and iock doors. Aii safety devices wiii remain active.

if you return to your vehicie before runtime has eiapsed, just turn the key to the “ON” position and depress

brake pedai.

What stops the engine

For your safety, engine wiii not start or it wiii stop if:

ignition key is in ”RUN” position (prevents start);

Remote controi sends a stop command.

Hood is open.

Brakes are appiied.

Aiarm is in infraction condition.

Engine is over-revving (if engine over-revving monitoring is active).

Main switch is OFF.

Safety sequence not vaiid (parking brake not appiied, opening of door detected whiie remote starter

was not keeping engine running).

Main switch

Main switch is usuaiiy mounted under dashboard.

When it is piaced in the OFF position, it canceis aii start reiated functions but does not disabie other

commands which remain active (aiarm, door iocking, etc).

STOP#

When engine is kept running by Remote Starter, you can stop it

with this command (iights: 1).

The stop command aiso ends panic mode and aiarm condition.
